Community Service


Helping others is an important aspect of my life. I really believe that one person can make a difference, at least to someone. Even if I can't change the world, I can try. The purpose of this section is to promote and encourage others to support these causes. In the near future I would love to add to this list by volunteering my time to help others. I wasn't really sure what to call this section, so for now it's called Community Service. If you think of a better name, let me know. Dedication.

The Hunger Site

The Hunger SiteThis site is pretty simple. You click a button and sponsers donate money which goes to help feed hungry people. Every day I get an email to remind me to click and it takes about 2 seconds out of my day. It is a simple but effective way to make a small difference. In 1999 my mother passed away from cancer. She did a lot of volunteering for the community and church. It is her that inspires me to help others.
