About Me
My name is Allison Nighswander. I have just graduated from RIT with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. My concentrations were Web Site Development and Database. I also minored in Psychology.
I decided to attend RIT because I got a scholarship in 11th grade. I then explored the campus and the different majors and decided that this was the right place for me. I picked my major, IT, because I wanted to do something with computers and it sounded like the best fit for me.
Based on the courses that I have taken, I think that I made a good decision for myself. My favorite IT courses have been Java Programming, Website Design and Implementation, Web Client Side Programming, Programming for the World Wide Web (Server Side Programming), Human Factors, Interface Design, Needs Assessment, and Introduction to Database and Data Modeling.
